National CPC History Knowledge Competition for College Students is planned and initiated by CCTV, and launched in conjunction with the Party History and Documentation Research Institute of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the National Language Work Committee, the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Youth League, and the National Federation of Students' Secretariat. It is hosted by Long Yang, has a total of 10 episodes. Val wants to kill Uttasit, but before she can do anything, Noi breaks in and shoots down Uttasit and surrenders to the police. Later, Noi and Val find out that Ratch actually is Uttasit’s son.

Henry Fonda stars as Col. J. C. Kincaid, crusty patriarch of a Texas family. Kincaid's weak-willed son Floyd (George Grizzard) wants to get into the old man's good graces so that he can develop the Colonel's vast land ownings. Floyd arranges a city-wide celebration lauding Kincaid as the oldest living graduate of a nearby military academy. The festivities serve only to make the already sour Kincaid even more truculent and miserable.
